In this shloka, guru or teacher is give the same place as God! The reason being he/she creates, sustains knowledge and destroys the weeds of ignorance.!
...On 5th September, we celebrate Teacher's Day in India. Sp thanks to my teachers, Dhar Ma'm & Joseph Sir who has been very kind to guide us at our early ages of education!
I must not forget to mention here, Frau Becker, Frau Maima, Miss Anna, Miss Lorrain & Miss Vicky who is shaping my young boy.(sorry if the spellings are wrong - these names are always on his lips even now!)
Best wishes to all my friends who... have taken up this nobel profession as a career or a volunteer, imparting education to their young ones!
